Purchase Questions

I purchased a single copy of Full Convert. Can I install in on my laptop as well?
Yes. Our licenses are per user, and each user can install the software on his/her desktop and laptop.
Can I install Full Convert on several computers in my company?
If multiple users need to use the program, you need to order a license for each user. You can also order Full Convert Enterprise Site License.
After my purchase, how long will it take before I receive my license key?
The license key(s) for the software you ordered will be sent to you by email as soon as your payment has been received. If you pay by credit card this will normally take only a few seconds, and license info is displayed right in your browser immediately, as well. Very small percentage of orders need to go through manual verification, which can take 5-6 hours at most, thought typically under one hour.
How do I upgrade to the new version and what does it cost?
When you buy Enterprise, you have access to all upgrades for a year. If you wish to extend download license, you will need to purchase download renewal each year. However, Full Convert Enterprise Unlimited has unlimited upgrades so you'll never need to pay for the upgrade again - you have a lifetime access to the latest version. Enterprise Unlimited is a better option for a long-term use and Enterprise is enough for short-term projects.
I have ordered, but have not received my license key. Can you help?
The license key will be emailed to you automatically after your payment has been received. For credit card payments this will be within a few minutes.
If you are sure your payment has been processed and still have not received our email with the license key:
- First, we recommend you to check your  Spam/Junk Email folder. Our email may have ended up there.
- Maybe you entered the wrong email address in the order form, causing our message to bounce. If so, just contact us with your correct email address and we will send it again.

Errors

OCI not installed
You don't have Oracle Client software installed, yet you tried accessing Oracle via Oracle Client. Please use the Direct TCP/IP mode to access your Oracle server directly, with no need for any drivers installed on your machine. However, you will need to specify the IP or network address of your server as Full Convert now has no configuration files to read it from.
oradirect
Lost connection to MySQL server during query
This typically occurs when the data sent to MySQL is larger than the max_allowed_packet MySQL configuration variable. The default limit of SQL sent to the MySQL is only 1MB. Full Convert will read this variable and limit the SQL sent so this error doesn't occur. However, when you have large blob or text data, you will need to increase the variable value.
Class not registered
You need to update Microsoft JET drivers for Access database. You can find them here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2deddec4-350e-4cd0-a12a-d7f70a153156&DisplayLang=en
I suddenly start to get errors on each write to Access database
Access databases have 2GB limit. As soon as your MDB file reaches 2GB, Access driver will fail. There is no workaround, though you might want to break conversion into several target MDB files, and write only selected tables in each.
Unsupported on-disk structure
You are either using outdated Interbase server to access your GDB file, or you are using Firebird to read Interbase 2007 database. We recommend installing Interbase 2007 database. Check to see if your license allows download from http://cc.codegear.com/free/interbase
