Service represents friendly connection name contained in Oracle Client definition file (tnsnames.ora). Service thus is not equal to server as one server can have many services exposed.
Full Convert also supports direct connection to Oracle server, without Oracle Client Software installed. To be able to connect directly, you need to provide server IP address, and port (default port 1521 is prefilled for you).
